WEGCC is Non-governmental organisation, with legal identity established to work all over the country to empower women to effectively fulfil their responsibilities at individual, family and community levels. It is a membership institution formed by women concerned with development in grassroots communities.

The organisation works in collaboration with different development actors to implement programs on education, women empowerment, unemployment, food security, community and reproductive health, in grassroots communities. Gender mainstreaming and networking and exchange are crosscutting components in WEGCC programs. ..more
